To not give too much away, the 2020 vintage for Bordeaux was a stellar one, and one that will do very well with some bottle age. I personally don't trust a recommended drinking window, since all of us have different palates, we will all enjoy it at different stages of its journey, and therefore this is a great opportunity to decide for yourself, when do I want to open these bottles?

I hope you all can join us on December 28th, at 5:00 P.M. for some truly incredible wines!

Featured Wines

2020 Chateau Fontenil, Fronsac

Fronsac is a very small region at an unusually high elevation compared to other Bordeaux appellations. Its vineyards unroll along the oak-dotted hills bordering the river’s edge, making it perhaps Bordeaux’s prettiest and most majestic countryside.

2020 Chateau Barde Haut, Saint Emilion Grand Cru

The wine of Château Barde-Haut offer an admirably balanced dialogue between power and freshness, resulting in a product of rare elegance. Showcasing classic flavors of blackcurrant, met with red plum, spice, and a touch of floral notes, this is a wine that is sure to entice.

2020 Chateau Giscours, Margaux
98 Points | Wine Enthusiast

Chateau Giscours is very proud of the 2020 vintage. The team's in-depth knowledge of the terroir and their risk-taking have produced a voluptuous wine. It is generous, with great personality. It has all the power and fleshiness of Chateau Giscours, and evokes a taffeta texture with silky tannins. It is a vintage that reflects the meticulous and bold approach that guided the team during this atypical year.

2020 Chateau Pontet Canet, Pauillac
98 Points | James Suckling

Aromas of blackcurrants and black cherries with hints of crushed walnuts, grilled thyme, cocoa powder and graphite. It’s full-bodied with layers of ultra-fine, silky tannins that elegantly coat your palate, allowing the juicy and vibrant fruit to shine. Delicate and pristine, yet compact with lots of energy and power to uncover in the coming years. It lasts for minutes and is delicious now. The purity of fruit is really impressive

2020 Chateau Lynch Bages, Pauillac
99 Points | James Suckling
#3 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2023

A beautifully layered red with blackcurrant, hazelnut and lead-pencil character and fine, velvety tannins. Full-bodied and reserved. It’s like a tightly knit ball of polished tannins that are cashmere in texture. So very long and impressive. Give this time. A terrific Lynch
