Gerald Morgan

Sommelier

Gerald is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the Sommelier behind Buon Vino, the Plano TX based wine concierge service. Gerald formed Buon Vino in 2007 and has since made it into the most exciting emerging wine concept in the DFW Metroplex. Buon Vino specializes in helping its clients find all things wine, from the everyday to the extraordinary. Gerald has passed the Introductory Sommelier Exam given by the Court of Master Sommeliers®

Derek Wilcox

Wine Director

Derek came to Buon Vino after serving for 4 years as Pappas Bros Steakhouse front of house manager and bar manager. He worked with Master Sommelier Barbara Werley during his term assisting her with server training, focusing on wine recommendations, service timing and logistics. Derek serves as sommelier on the Buon Vino staff and oversees our Locker holders, our most coveted clients. His love of wine shines through with his passion for Bordeaux and old-world wines.

Andrew Kier

Wine Consultant

Andrew is Oregon and Washington State native who possesses a WSET level 2 Award in Wine and a BBA in marketing and businesses development from Saint Martin’s University and the University of Oxford U.K. He has spent the last several years working in Oregon’s Willamette Valley as the Senior Sales and Hospitality Associate for Domaine Roy et Fils Winery. Andrew has worked closely with many of the best wineries throughout the Willamette Valley and brings his passion for wine and experience to Buon Vino!

Martin Ybarbo

Creative Director

Martin is a graduate of the University of North Texas and serves as Creative Director managing the website and marketing department. Martin joined Buon Vino in February 2012 and has contributed to the growth of the Buon Vino by establishing and maintaining the visual appeal through advertising and design.

Ashley Echaniz

Corporate Accounts Manager

Ashley is a graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelors in Communications. Ashley is the Senior Communications Director handling logistics and public relations. Ashley joined Buon Vino in 2014 and has become an integral part of the Buon Vino operations.

Jade Falldine

COO

Jade holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and a master’s degree from Sam Houston State University and currently serves as the COO for Buon Vino. Prior to taking an active role in Buon Vino, Jade was the COO for a public relations and marketing firm and held leadership positions in senior living and healthcare. Jade and her husband John have been part owners of Buon Vino for over 7 years.
