Aromas of blackberry, black currant and powdered cocoa give way to notes of lavender, soy and herbs de Provence. Texturally, the wine is expansive and concentrated, showing flavors of dark baker’s chocolate, dark cherry and caramelized vanilla. Tannins are round, lush and fine-grained, and excellent acid drives the wine through its fresh, long finish.
