With a wine label and story this great, the juice needs to be up to the task, and the 2015 Prelius Prile Maremma is smoking good! Intense fruity hits of plump, black cherries and wild blackberry jam paired with perfumes of sweet spices, mocha espresso, and balsamic nuances. Juicy and powerful with a thick texture and lush aftertaste, long and persistent.

Dark and beautifully resonant on the palate, the 2015 opens up nicely with a bit of time in the glass, revealing hints of black cherry, chocolate, licorice and espresso. Drink it over the next decade.
