Avancia Nobleza Godello is the result of a barrel selection of wine sourced from the Finca Aeiroá, planted in 1939 above O Barco de Valdeorras on slate and schist soils. This spectacular site is a field blend primarily of Godello intermixed with Mencía and other red grape varieties. The northern orientation of this site and slate soils produces wines of remarkable freshness and minerality.

94 points	A barrel selection that's 100% Godello from vines planted in 1940, the 2022 Avancia Nobleza Godello was first made in 2020 and is raised in 33% new larger format barrels. Ripe honeyed lemon, quince, crushed stone, and minty, floral notes all emerge from the glass, and it's medium-bodied, with a layered, richer, balanced mouthfeel, beautiful acidity, and a concentrated, lengthy style that will evolve for a decade.
