Marc and Michael approach this wine as the symphony made up of our historic single vineyards. When looking at Napa Valley as a whole, the terroir is wildly diverse—from warm to cool, mountain to valley floor. It's our goal for this wine to be a Gagnon-Kennedy interpretation of the valley in totality. It includes our home vineyard, the Caldwell Vineyard in Coombsville, plus Beckstofer Georges III in Rutherford, Beckstofer Missouri Hopper, the Old Federal Bolck in Oakville, and Samuel Brannan in Calistoga. Each barrel that goes into the Cuvée selected first-drawing our inspiration from Krug Champagne's masterful Grande Cuvée.
