The 2022 Bunker Hill Chardonnay from Lingua Franca pours a light lemon-silver core with a watery rim and saw about 26% new French oak during aging. It’s another knock-out Chardonnay from the estate that takes some time to unfurl in the glass. Sporting notes of honey-coated pear, lemongrass, freshly struck flint, crushed wet rocks, and white wildflowers, it’s a lovely combination of elegance and power across the palate. 1300 cases made.
