The high percentage of deeply flavored Cabernet grapes lend an extra dimension of structure and gravitas to a wine that typically shows well early on. Deep cassis, wild, thorny vine fruit, crushed red rock, lead pencil and dark flowers pour out of the nose and expand on the palate. This is a serious glass of Howell Mountain red that features all of the signature traits of the wines grown in this original nested AVA.
