Located within the Chehalem Mountains appellation – home to some of the oldest vineyards planted in Willamette Valley. Sitting at about 500 ft. elevation nestled within the Ribbon Ridge and Laurelwood appellations, the diverse composition of soils and climate create distinctive, complex wines with a true sense of place. We have named this wine our “Cabernet lover’s Pinot Noir” as it expresses bold flavors of ripe blackberries, bing cherries and a touch of spice. Vibrant and well-balanced, this wine showcases a purity of fruit and well-integrated tannins with a long, graceful finish. It’s very approachable in its youth but has the potential to develop further complexity with a few years of aging.
