The nose opens with a seductive bouquet of ripe plum and lush Amarena cherry, layered seamlessly with exotic spices, cardamom, clove, and a hint of anise, that deepen the aromatic complexity. On the palate, this wine is richly textured and boldly structured. Powerful, mouthcoating tannins provide a dense yet polished framework, while a core of dark fruit is lifted by vibrant mouthwatering acidity, bringing great freshness and drive. Notes of cedar and dried thyme weave through the mid-palate, adding savory nuance and further dimension. The finish is long, persistent, and layered, echoing spice, fruit, and a subtle earthiness that speaks to its aging potential."
