Merryvale has a long history in Napa Valley, producing handcrafted wines that showcase the character and elegance of some of the region's finest vineyards. Keith will guide us through a special selection of Merryvale wines while sharing the stories behind the winery, vineyards, and winemaking philosophy.
This will be a great opportunity to discover more about Merryvale, taste through their lineup, and enjoy an evening of exceptional wine and conversation.
The Lineup
Merryvale Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley $38
Alluring aromas of tropical fruits, white flowers, and honeysuckle. The classic barrel fermentation and élevage in neutral French oak and concrete provides generous texture combined with vibrant focus and minerality. A layered, pure and precise Sauvignon Blanc that showcases piercing acidity and fruit complexity as the wine opens.
Long and lingering, pair this wine with summertime and seafood.
Merryvale Silhouette Chardonnay, Napa Valley $85
Silhouette is everything we love about great Chardonnay—bright, fresh, full, complex, long and delicious. Barrel fermented with native yeasts in the classic Burgundian style, the wine is unctuous and full while expressing the bright acidity of the cool Carneros appellation. Lemon curd, hazelnuts, orange blossoms, and jasmine delight aromatically and on the palate as the wine evolves in the glass. This is a complex Chardonnay, with layers of flavor dancing on the taut line of natural acidity. The long, balanced finish both satisfies and entices—this is a deeply enjoyable wine. An excellent food companion, the wine is also stunning on its own and will continue to evolve over the next 10+ years.
Merryvale Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast $42
Showcasing hallmark dark fruits and bracing acidity, this Pinot Noir is classic Carneros. The complex aromatics have it all—underforest earthiness with a core of black cherry and baking spices, complemented by flinty minerality. Velvety on the palate, the wine is perfectly weighted with incredible natural acidity and a long, evolving finish.
Merryvale Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley $78
Powerful elegance in a glass. Bold and velvety, this wine showcases the quintessential characteristics of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of purple flowers, graphite, and warm cedar. The mouthfeel is full-bodied and lush, with well-integrated tannins providing structure and balance. Layered with notes of fig, cassis, and black cherry underpinned by a savory complexity and long, evolving finish.
Blend: 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc
Merryvale Profile Red Blend, Napa Valley $240
A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc that reflects the best of the Profile Estate in a fantastic vintage. Aromas of dark chocolate, blackberry, and cassis with a savory character of black olive and mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the tannins are still tightly wound but this vintage spent some extra time in barrel to make the wine more approachable upon release. The wine is concentrated and balanced with great length and structure that will improve over the next 25+ years.
Blend: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc
