Forte do Cego is located in Casal do Cego, in the municipality of Arruda dos Vinhos and is part of the historic route of the Lines of Torres Vedras. It was also known as Forte de S.Sebastião, the name by which it was originally nicknamed, due to its proximity to our Quinta. The new range was inspired by this same historic route which is made up of 152 Forts that defended Lisbon from the French Invasions, led by Napoleon Bonaparte.
We mirror the various Forts in different ways on our label. Today we color our story! Forte do Cego in Quinta de S.Sebastião.
