Buon Vino, We have the exciting opportunity to be the first tasting for a new brand: Harpers Rest in the Russian River Valley. Matt Courtney To help us launch this new winery, we have the great pleasure of hosting the winemaker, Vance Rose, to take us through the history of the wines, and the storied vineyards he cultivates. Vance Rose is a wine industry veteran with over 40 years’ experience,  encompassing winemaking in California, France, Spain and Australia,  and ever since having a great bottle of 1959 red Burgundy when he was 18,  Vance has sought to find vineyards from which to make wine that  could rival that seminal experience. With the start of the purchase of  Moon Dust Vineyard in 2021 and Harper’s Rest Vineyard in 2025, he is confident he is finally there. With us being the first place to launch these wines in Texas, I am so thrilled to get to share with you possibly one of my favorite sites in the Russian River Valley, and that the steward to the wonderful fruit will be here to share them with us.
