November here we come! Thanksgiving is just around the corner. The wines we selected this time around are not designed to pair with Thanksgiving food but that doesn't mean they aren't great. I plan to have at least one of them on turkey day. Registration is below as well as the wine list of what we will be tasting.

We hope to see everyone on Saturday.

Belle Glos Glasir Holt Chardonnay
$44.99

Beautiful golden hues in the glass with mouth-watering aromas of pie crust, lightly toasted marshmallow, banana cream pie, and hints of granny smith apple. On the palate, you'll find large, luscious tones of melon, bright apple, and hints of buttery brioche. The wine has a well-balanced mouthfeel that dances on the palate with bright and lively acidity and minerality, resulting in a phenomenal expression of a coastal-driven Chardonnay.

Penner - Ash Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley
92 Points | James Suckling
$58.99

Aromas of spiced raspberries and ripe Hood strawberries gently fold into warm vanilla oak. Rainier cherry and cocoa provide a savory sweetness and weight on the palate leading to a lengthy finish

Zarihs by Borsao, Campo de Borja
91 Points | James Suckling
$27.99

The color is opaque red-black. Crimson-purple rim. Powerful impression of blackberries, with a hint of wood smoke and sweet vanilla. The nose begins to open up and develops notes of dark chocolate. The initial impact is very full bodied, with a plush, soft structure. Flavors of dark berries dominate; wild blackberries and dried plums, with notes of espresso coffee.

Lancaster Winemakers Cuvee, Alexander Valley
93 Points | Jeb Dunnuck
$64.99

2019 Winemaker’s Cuvée is a testament to an exceptional vintage for Bordeaux grapes and our incredible vineyards in the Alexander Valley. A strong base of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Merlot is complemented by small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Malbec. The combination of warm climate and alluvial and gravelly loam soil found on our estate is ideal for creating balanced wines of concentration and richness. A dark and indulgent wine with great complexity and depth that showcases the 2019 vintage in Alexander Valley beautifully. Aromas and flavors of dark plum and black currant meld together with savory notes of leather, cedar and clove spice. Medium-firm tannins linger on the silky smooth finish.

Klipsun Red Blend, Red Mountain, Washington
$54.99

Aromas of dried cranberry and fresh raspberry intertwined with spice. On the palate, ripe blue and red fruit, nuances of herbs, cocoa and spice. Debonair and supple in texture with polished tannins. Smart in structure.
Blend: 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 16% Syrah

Klipsun has earned a reputation as one of Washington’s “First Growth” vineyards. We are driven to craft benchmark wines that express the nuance of our terroir at both its most raw and most refined. Small lots. Uncompromising standards. Sourced exclusively from our Red Mountain property. Each vintage is a testament to the land, the seasons and the meticulous craft that produced it.
