A lactic, milky freshness appears on the wine's nose first. With more air it gets creamier and morphs into a notion of buttery shortbread. The palate then majors on this shortbread theme, surrounding and enlivening it with lovely lemon freshness and adding a generous dosage that really lets the Golden Delicious apple notes speak. The mousse is admirably fine, and the finish is dry.
