We will be going through some of our favorite elevated summer whites, reds, and Roses that are perfect for the season. Wine for the patio doesn't have to be simple or cheaply made, and that's exactly what were here to show you!
we have selected wines that we have plentiful availability of (Hydration is key, and wine is around 70% water!), and will take your next lake house visit or casual day on the patio to the next level!
Featured Wines
2021 Zudugarai Txakolina, Galacia
Prepared with the local grape variety Hondarrabi Zuri.
Brilliant straw yellow color with green tones. White fruit aroma, assembled with balsamic fine herbs, distinctive sign of Hondarrabi Zuri grape. Rich flavored and interest in mouth. Its natural acidity brings again a nose intake.
Clean and bright color. Wide mouthfeel that brings again notes in nose. Fresh and powerful aroma.
2021 Peryassol "La Bastide" Rose, Provence
This new estate cuvée was created on the 20th anniversary of the acquisition of the Commanderie de Peyrassol by Philippe Austruy.
Soft in color, reminiscent of rose petals. A very open nose, typical of the unrestrained expression of this vintage: fresh flowers perfectly interweave with delicate and tasty fruit. The nose supports the palate with fresh, typical fruit notes characteristic of the grape varieties. The wine’s lingering velvety profile takes over the whole palate before moving to a delicate, thirst-quenching finish.
Te Mata Sauvignon Blanc, Hawkes Bay
Clear, brilliant and crystalline, Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2022 appears spun from bright golden light. Lime, passionfruit, guava, and honey-dew melon leap from the glass in this powerful statement of New Zealand’s famous sauvignon blanc expression. Beyond, the palate is rich, layered and juicy. A moreish acidity runs the length of this wine, all the way though to its mouth-watering finish. Deliciousness redefined, Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2022 has arrived.
2020 Morgan "12 Clones" Pinot Noir, Santa Lucia Highlands
94 points | Wine Enthusiast
The 2020 Twelve Clones demonstrates the finesse typical of Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands. Aromas of black cherry, tobacco, and espresso bean are complemented by flavors of black fruit and a hint of sweet and savory spices. Perfectly poised, this medium plus bodied wine is supported by rich tannins.
2021 "Details" By Sinegal Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma County
92 Points | Jeb Dunnuck
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Details is a terrific entry level wine from this team and has everything you'd want from a value-priced Cabernet Sauvignon. Black cherries, mulberries, gravelly earth, and leafy tobacco define the bouquet, and it's medium-bodied, round, supple, and nicely textured, with a forward, charming style that's going to drink nicely right out of the gate.
